NPO法人一本杉通りの文化遺産を守る会は一本杉通りの被災した歴史的建築物の保存・改修活動に取り組んでいます。この度、一部建物の再建を行うにあたり、NPO「ワールド・モニュメント財団（World Monuments Fund (WMF)）」様にご支援の可能性についてご検討いただけることになりました。そこで、4月1日、ワールド・モニュメント財団のみなさまがニューヨークから一本杉通りにお越しになり、現地のようすを視察されました。
当日は、本NPO理事からの挨拶、七尾市教育委員会様と合同での一本杉通りの歴史やプロジェクトの概要についてのプレゼンテーションを行った後、実際に改修予定の建物を訪れ、建物の現状と改修方針の他、被災後に商いや生活を営んでいるようすについて、説明を行わせていただきました。
この度は、アメリカから遠路遥々一本杉通りまでお越しいただきまして、誠にありがとうございました。これを契機に、一本杉通りの文化遺産の保存が進められると嬉しいです。

Members of the NPO World Monuments Fund (WMF) Visit Ipponsugi Street
Our NPO is dedicated to preserving the historical buildings along Ipponsugi Street, which were affected by the 2024 Noto Earthquake. The World Monuments Fund (WMF) visited the street on April 1st to explore potential support for several of our renovation projects.
After a warm welcome from our chairman, we presented the history of the street along with an overview of our renovation initiatives. During the visit, we discussed the damage caused by the earthquake and outlined our plans for restoration. We also highlighted the challenges faced by business owners in sustaining their livelihoods in the aftermath of the disaster.
We sincerely appreciate the WMF’s visit and consideration of our efforts. We hope that this collaboration will contribute to the preservation of our cultural heritage. Thank you for making the journey to support our cause.
